Make your very own 2D soapstone carving! All you need is a little elbow grease and a little imagination.
Every thing you need to complete the kit is included 1 60 grit mesh, 2 stages of sandpaper, finishing oil and basic instructions on how to get started. We provide you with a cut out animal to give you a good starting point, 1 grit mesh, 2 more stages of sandpaper and tung oil to finish it. More Detailed carving instructions can be found on our website. Stone color will be a total surprise until the carving is done and the carving is oiled, showing off the beautiful colors inside the stone.
This size is perfect for kids ages 5 and up who do not have the hand dexterity to carve a full 3D Animal. It can be shaped and detailed with the Mesh sandpaper instead.

We hand cut each stone from Brazilian Soapstone which is the softest carving stone and has the widest range of colors.
