Baryonyx is a large carnivorous dinosaur that lived in Europe around 125 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous period. Nearly 10 meters long, it is recognizable by its elongated snout lined with fine teeth, similar to that of crocodiles.
Fascinating feature: This dinosaur possessed a huge curved claw over 30 cm long on each hand, ideal for grasping aquatic prey. Fish remains found in its fossilized stomach confirm its piscivorous diet.
