This one-of-a-kind beaded hat was created by Jennifer Howse, a recognized Alberta artist known for her detailed, hand-beaded Indigenous arts, particularly moccasins and other leatherwork. Her knowledge of making moccasins and mukluks was influenced by her and her husband’s Métis family.
There are over 10,000 beads on the rim of this beautiful hat. Jennifer suggests the owner could apply clear nail polish to the beadwork to help protect the thread.
This hat comes in one size but could be taken to Jones Boys Saddlery & Western Wear or Lammle’s Western Wear for shaping.
Comes with a hat box.
