Birch Basket – Fish Scale Flowers by Dolly Metchooyeah

Dolly Metchooyeah, is a Dene Tha First Nation artist based in the Chateh community in Northern Alberta. She works mostly with birch and beadwork.

The flower is made of fish scales; the basket is made of birch bark with leather and wood binding.
