Celebrate the majestic and long awaited Walterdale Bridge with this beautiful pin!
Named after early settler John Walter, who operated a ferry at this crossing spot on the North Saskatchewan River before a bridge was built, the Walterdale Bridge (2017) replaced the previous steel grating-decked truss bridge (built in 1912-13).
With arches standing at 56 metres tall, enhanced pedestrian and cyclist crossings, it has quickly become one of Edmonton’s favourite bridges.
Let people know what your favourite bridge is with this pin. Stick it on your lapel, your bag, your hat, wherever!
